I was so happy to find the other half of my OTP in an RP Community and that’s why I joined it in the first place. I’ve been trying to message him and create posts about my character meeting him so they can start a story together but it seems like I’m being completely ignored T-T. It upsets me since it’s the first time I ever attempt to roleplay on Tumblr and I really, really want to make my OTP ‘real’ :(.

Maybe they don’t want the pairing to happen? I admit, I’ve ignored people who have made a character JUST so they could pair off with mine. Not everyone RP’s for shipping/smut. Some people actually play for plot/story/character development. Randomly showing up in an RP and messaging and posting just to start a pairing you want is… I’d be blocking you, OP. It’s pushy, kinda uncomfortable and frankly, rude.

On the other hand it never hurts to ask. BOTH parties should be polite about it. Blocking someone without even responding is just as bad. All you have to say is no.
